Chequer Mead can be found at the east end of De La Warr Road. The best postcode to use for sat navs is RH19 3BS. There are also signs throughout the main town directing you to us.

Parking

There is ample and convenient ‘Pay & Display’ parking immediately opposite Chequer Mead. These are operated by Mid Sussex District Council. Parking is free of charge after 6pm, Monday to Saturday and all day on Sundays. The most up-to-date parking tariffs for all other times can be found on the Mid Sussex District Council website.

The car park immediately opposite Chequer Mead is a short-stay car park. There is a second car park adjacent to this, which is a long-stay car park.

Both car parks have disabled parking and EV charging parking available.

 

Public Transport

By Train

East Grinstead railway station is a 10-minute walk, with regular train services to London. Services are operated by Southern Rail.

By Bus

All buses stop at the High Street; a few minutes walk from the Theatre. For further information and bus timetables, see the Metrobus website.
