East Grinstead Jazz Club is proud to present  a special performance in the Apron Cafe at Chequer Mead.

The project “Oceanic,” explores the beauty, wildlife diversity, sustainability, responsibility, and the impact of pollution on the world’s oceans through music and visuals, contemplating both the majesty and fragility of our planet’s ocean.
Atlanticus have recently returned from a tour of the USA where they have been promoting their newest album – Oceanic – which has had 2 tremendous album reviews in Downbeat  and Jazzwise .(see below)
ATLANTICUS is a unique British-American musical partnership bringing together US saxophonist Peter Fraize, and UK organist Terry Seabrook, trumpeter Jack Kendon and drummer Milo Fell.
ATLANTICUS draws from the storied tradition of the great Hammond organ groups, with a post-modern sound. It is a fresh take on a deep tradition, utterly authentic and effortlessly swinging.
 
 The group have been active since  2016 and have embarked upon four UK tours with notable appearances at the Love Supreme Festival and Ronnie Scott’s  
Atlanticus had previously released two full length albums , Blue Have (2022) and Upstream (2023 ).Their Third Oceanic features a 5 -part suite with video accompaniment exploring themes of beauty wildlife diversity sustainability , responsibility , and the effect of pollution on the worlds oceans.
