Headlined by the brilliant Laura Lexx. Regional comedian, author and actor Laura is vivacious, impassioned, intelligent and one of the best MCs/Headliners on the comedy scene. Born and bred in the home county of Somerset, Laura’s comfy demeanour, warmth and energy delightfully juxtapose her biting wit, sharp tongue and brutal audience take downs, which just can’t stop going viral.
Following her Live at The Apollo (BBC) debut Laura received an unprecedented reaction both from the live crowd and audiences at home, which lead to her appearing in shows such as Mock The Week (BBC), Hypothetical (Dave) and Celebrity Mastermind (BBC) to name a few. Laura is the creator of multiple podcast formats, her current being Lexx Education where, taught by her scientist younger brother, Laura tries to get her head around the GCSE science syllabus with hilarious results! With unrivalled tenacity, intelligence and an infectiously vibrant attitude to life, Laura Lexx is the name on everyone’s lips. In 2024, Laura Lexx announced her debut national tour SLINKY, which received rave reviews including 4 Star from The Scotsman and won Best Show at the Women in Comedy Festival.
Opening the show is Marlon Davis! Marlon is a talented comedian, improviser and actor whose TV appearances include Live at the Apollo, Live From The Comedy Store, Stand Up Central, The Stand Up Sketch Show and Don’t Hate The Players.
Marlon made the final of two national competitions Laughing Horse New Act of the Year and So You Think You’re Funny? at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe the following year, very quickly and firmly cementing his status as a rising star on the comedy circuit. Marlon has supported Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre and Alan Carr on tour and is performing at clubs, arts centres and theatres all over the UK. Marlon’s act is inspired from his upbringing, exploring urban Britain and tackling its social issues with skillful characterisations.
