KATE GRIFFITHS – MAKEUP & SPECIAL EFFECTS ARTIST

With nearly 20 years of experience working in the film, tv, theatre and live performance industries, Kate Griffiths has a huge portfolio of work which has lead to her being known as a highly sought-after Makeup and Special Effects Artist who is easy to work with and brings her own unique style and design to everything she works on!

Kate is known to specialise in horror, her favourite genre of makeup and is sponsored the producers of the leading filmblood company Pigs Might Fly South, but her ability to design and create individual concepts in any genre brings every project she works on to life!  She works with indie filmmakers, top international film directors, theatre producers and TV production companies as well as delivering Special FX workshops to young people across the UK.  She has recently worked with Amazon Prime on The Boys immersive experience in London,  top international film director Neill Marshall, ITV for The Queens Platinum Jubilee, The London Palladium theatre, Boots and L’Oreal for TV commercials and a multitude of UK independent film directors on their feature films.
